TOP 5 FREE FONT WEBSITES

While scouring the web I am always looking for more resources and new Ideas, One very important aspect of any website has to be the "Font". .

1. Dafont.com – Very easy website to navigate, Directions on home page of how to install fonts, Direct Download links to the fonts, ability to type your own words or sentence while you search for a font to download to see how those words look before you download the font.

2. Fontspace.com – Another great site, 17000 Font database, Direct Download Links, Customizable text while searching, The only negatives are the lack of easy accessible help links and the amount of ads that clutter up the site. I did not notice any pop-up ads, however some of the Google ads are misleading.

3. Simplythebest.net – Very simple design site, minimal ads and nothing flashy but seems to have a pretty large database of fonts. Direct Download links to fonts take a few clicks to get to but there is a support link on the front page to help users install fonts.

4. Abstractfonts.com – Over 13000 fonts, searchable database, Direct Download Links next to the font name. Site could be better if it didn't have pop-up video ads. Site could also have less text links everywhere, I am forced to check the status bar to see where each text link takes me to make sure I am not being redirected to another site.

5. Fonts500.com – Small Database of Fonts but the way the site is laid out it is very easy to browse through the 500 Fonts they do have. If you want to download the font you just click it and it starts the download. No help links to assist in installation but very easy to use custom text while browsing quickly through the database.
